 Hey, I’m Emily, founder of The Acne & Eczema Clinic. As a qualified Naturopath, having served thousands of clients across the globe, I know better than most that the undeniable core of healing lies in the health of the gut.

During this program, we aim to renew the very cellular function of the gut with nutrigenomic changes achieved through diet and very specific supplemental support. The Restore & Renew Program

The program starts with a short 1:1 phone consultation with me, to understand where you're at and what your goals are for the program.

I then create a personalised prescription to support you through the program. All items you require will be posted to you, free of charge.

We complete the program with a short 1:1 review consultation and by tracking how your biomarkers have changed throughout the program.

Over the 4 months you will have an online program to follow with learning materials to watch and read before you begin implementation. Week 1 - Assessment of your current gut health status

We can only figure out where we're going when we know exactly where we are. This week, we are starting off nice and easy by identifying what your current dietary habits look like, and how you are feeling on a day to day basis. This is important fundamental information that helps us to dissect our relationship with food next week.

Week 2 - Unpacking your Habits, Rewards & Analysing Consumption

This module is all about how we create unhelpful dietary habits, why they can be difficult to break with "willpower" alone, and what the most addictive and harmful foods are for the gut which we are focusing on reducing and releasing this month. You will also have time in self-reflection to journal about what you are over-consuming and why with all this newfound knowledge!

This week is all about understanding why we are releasing certain foods, and this week's focus is the most common culprits: sugar and alcohol.

This week is all about understanding why we are releasing certain foods, and this week's focus is what fills most people's day to day diet: processed foods and caffeine.

How The Gut Works, What Can Go Wrong & What’s Needed To Heal.

You'll learn about nutrigenomics and exactly what your prescription is doing to the cellular health of your gut. The very title of this program comes from this information - we are restoring the ecology and environment of your gut by renewing the cellular function of your epithelial (AKA gut lining) cells.

It's super important that we are supporting this healing work with a supportive diet, and since we have made more room on our plates for healthy foods by removing ones that cause harm, we are now going to explore what we need to fill up on in order to encourage health and healing.

I want to share the stories from previous clients with you in case they resonate with where you are now.

One of my clients came to me suffering with patches of eczema on her elbows that she would scratch until they bled. She also had intense bloating which caused her so much pain and frustration she would often find herself crying whilst holding her distended belly. She had tried a bunch of things already, including FODMAPs dieting and seeing not one but three gastroenterologists over the years, and had a history of intense antibiotic use. The core of her treatment involved the very nutrigenomic changes that we work through together in this program. Within 2 months her bloating was so reduced she actually bought a size smaller in her pants, and hadn’t even realised how much of her body shape was attributed to the distension she was feeling. She could sleep on her side again and have her husband rest his head on her tummy while they relaxed in the evening without wincing in pain and asking him to move.

When we work on affecting change within the cells, we optimise their innate function which can have a dramatic impact on our gut and our skin. It’s always at the core of the work that I do to target cellular health, because without cells functioning properly, everything else is a bit of a band aid solution.

I have been in private practise for almost ten years, and in that time I’ve gone from being a general clinician, treating a lot of gut health problems, to refining my focus to be specifically on my special interest areas of acne and eczema.
